Honestly, I bet by making NYT, and Kerry talk about all this is going to be Rove's way of proving WMD taken out by russia.....
Bush couldn't JUST bring it up out of no where or people would have questioned it...Kerry referring to it and even making an ad, gave Bush the LEAD that he needed for Monday's announcement of KGB helping pull WMD 's out of Iraq!

I don't think the Bush admin. is going to address the issue untless they have to. Condi Rice was on the radio with Laura Ingraham yesterday and she denied having any knowledge of Russians removing the explosives. For whatever reason, the Bush admin. does not want to talk about this...but millions of Americans DO!
RE: I was livid when I saw American forces enounter a Russian "diplomatic" convoy exiting to Syria as we invaded. We weren't allowed to stop & inspect them. If it had been my unit, I would have "misunderstood" their "diplomatic" status and checked their trunks for Saddam and WMD paper trails.

Seems the more things change the more they stay the same and Reagan's words still apply "Trust but verify"!
Ask them about the night vision equipment Russia gave to Iraq before the war.
