I've got the same question: why don't the Republicans ever fight back? This new development simply keeps in the voters' minds the charge that Bush doesn';t know what's going-on in Iraq. This does not help Bush.
Bush has toughened up his rhetoric significantly in the past week. Only Fox is covering it though. MSM needs a full blown congressional investigation after Bush is elected.
