The ACLU refuses to defend the Second Amendment because they decided it's not a "real right" for the People.

Meanwhile, they defend pedophiles, murderers and the rest of the dregs of society to the detriment of all others.

The ACLU is just another Fifth Column cretin crew masquerading as an American organization.

There's a big surprise: Some folks think that the ACLU fronts for communist organizations?

Duh.

Dennis Miller said, "The ACLU will take you to court to force you to take down a public Nativity Scene but they will defend the rights of a guy who gets drunk, stumbles into the scene and (blanks) the goat in the (blank)"

Judging by the excerpt from his book, it's clear that J. Edgar Hoover knew precisely what the communists were up to. He also seems very intelligent. It's no wonder he was slandered the way he was. I don't know much about him, but when I hear his name, a negative impression comes wafting in from my subconscious. I'm sure this is from years of unexamined exposure to the leftist charicature that exists in the various media -- Hoover as a paranoid nut, Hoover in a dress and high heels, etc. I used to get a similar impression of McCarthy, before I learned more about him.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."

Source: Committee on Un-American Activities of theU.S. House of Representatives, December 1, 1961. Most of the reports in that publication are in turn verbatim quotationsfrom reports of Federal government and Congressional authorities, namely, the committee itself (HCUA), the SenateJudiciary Committee and its Internal Security Subcommittee

Arthur Kinoy was born on September 20, 1920 in New York City. He married Susan Knopf. He is an alumnus of Harvard University (A.B., 1941) and Columbia Univeristy (LL.B., 1947)

"Kinoy has been associated with the National Lawyers Guild["the foremost legal bulwark of the Communist Party, its front organizations, and controlled unions"] for a long time. He was national vice president of that organization in 1954. Ten years later, he was still active in the work of the National Lawyers Guild. The June 13, 1964 issue of the Michigan Chronicle, a weekly Detroit newspaper in the Negro community, reported Kinoy as having participated in a conference sponsored by the National Lawyers Guild Committee for Legal Assistance in the South, the purpose of the conference being to brief attorneys on legal problems confronting civil rights demonstrators in Mississippi."

In 1964, Kinoy became a professor of law at Rutgers University. From 1964 until 1967, he was a partner in the law firm of Kunstler, Kunstler & Kinoy of New York City. He has been counsel for the radical-leftist Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the leftist Southern Conference Educational Fund. He has been affiliated with the Emergency Civil Liberties Committee ["Communist front" - "subversive"]. In 1966, he was a speaker at the annual dinner of the Communists' National Guardian. He has done legal work for the radical-leftist American Civil Liberties Union.

The constitution of the NLG states that its members shall serve the people "to the end that human rights shall be regarded as more sacred than property rights." Throughout its remarkable history, Guild lawyers have confronted such pressing domestic issues as national health insurance, social security, labor’s right to organize and bargain collectively, anti-lynching legislation, full employment, reproductive freedom, and always the protection and advocacy of civil liberties and civil rights. Not limited to domestic affairs, and in support of peace law, the Guild played an important part in the formation of the United Nations, the Nuremberg trials, the Marshall Plan, and the policy of containment in Korea, Vietnam, and Central America.
