Just wondering if we know of any jobs that sKerry had right after discharge (even govt work) that might have this record in their files.

Excellent point. Kerry earned his JD at Boston College Law School in 1976 and was was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar later that year. Now I do not know about Massachusetts but in California, in order to become a member of the bar, you must pass a "Determination of Moral Character." This involves a huge application 27 pages long. Page 17 states "If you are now separated from military service, attach a copy of DD Form 214 to the application."

Concievably the Massachusetts Bar has information on this, as well as the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office where he first worked. Fat chance of either of them cooperating on this though.

Click the "A November 6, 1971 interview with John Kerry on protesting the war in Vietnam. (10 min.)" link.

At the 2:54 mark, there is this interchange;

Moderator: Was there ever any question about you being dishonorably discharged?

Kerry: No, no that has never been questioned.

I think it was medical/psychiatric. Isn't it obvious that the man is a nut-case.

Don't see that ever happening.

Impeachment refers to high crimes and misdemeanors while serving as POTUS, not those things that occurred before taking the oath.

You are undoubtedly correct, sir.

My line of reasoning was that if it could be demonstrated that Mr. Kerry had "...engaged in insurrection or rebellion..." or had "... given aid or comfort to the enemies...", then the act of being sworn in would constitute a high crime.

I'm sure that a skillful JAG or constitutional attorney would take a different tactic.

Proof of OTH discharge will get press.

The only way its going to get play with the MSM at this point in time is if the words "I got got an OTH Discharge from the Navy" came straight from Kerry's own lips.

There's more you can do!

Highly regarded 'The Federalist'  website has submitted a petition to Congress and the Attorney General with 180,000 signers on October 18th for action after the election. Since then over 6,500 additional have signed.

Petition to Investigate and Indict John F. Kerry for acts of treason

Signers: 186519

Though John Kerry has an extensive and well-documented record of anti-American activities over the past three decades, it is his acts of treason in 1970-71 that are the subject of this petition for indictment. Our appeal notes both Kerry's violations of the UCMJ (Article 104 part 904) and U.S. Code (18 USC Sec. 2381 and 18 USC Sec. 953), and calls for his disqualification for public office in accordance with the Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment, Section 3, which states: "No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President ... having previously taken an oath ... to support the Constitution of the United States, [who has] engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."

Why prosecute John Kerry now? In October 2003, Mr. Kerry chose to make his Vietnam war record the centerpiece of his campaign for the presidency; this has been especially true since his primary victory in March 2004. In response, more than 165,000 signatories of the above-referenced petition for indictment have made his war record the centerpiece of their campaign to disqualify Kerry from public office. We understand that no action is likely to be taken on this petition until after the 02 November election. Be it known, however, that on 03 November, we will seek full recourse in an effort to have John Kerry prosecuted for acts of treason and disqualified from any future campaign for any national office. We are thus committed to holding Mr. Kerry accountable for his actions, as there is no statute of limitations for acts of treason.

Pass it on to others!

They might not cooperate willingly, but its possible that the review process is a matter of public record, particularly at the District Attorney's Office. They may not have a choice!
