Guys, how many women do you know that are really in tune with current events???? Politics? That watch the news? Any?
Most of them "listen to music", and that's pretty much it. They LOVE music. Kinda like how much I was "really into music"........when I was 17 years old. But for typical American females, they are always "into music."
If you take a female on a date, the topic of conversation is about as banal as a typical sitcom plot.
Liberal, Conservative..........whatever. Chicks have a vagina, and that's what guys want. Men don't hear a thing a girl says until after maybe the 4th or 10th date, if ever.
It's the truth folks, deal with it.
I'm quite certain that I'll get flamed for this, I'm used to it. Just my opinion from years of experience, of course.

Actually, I won't consider a long term relationship with a liberal woman. For me, I'll accept anything from a sincere moderate to a strong conservative, or someone who isn't very political at all.
Truth is, there is only so much I will invest in a relationship with a woman who has a difficult time with such aracane concepts as 'is' and 'alone.' Haha!
For casual dating or a brief fling, politics isn't an issue for me and I like to use these women as political punching bags for my amusement, I confess. Then, I ditch them.
Probably the biggest reason most folks don't vote Republican, everybody thinks we're just a bunch of wild-eyed Bible-beaters.

As a former (long ago) liberal, I'll ditto that.
They are out there, and they are not all liberals or fat. I dated a very attractive woman who was an open-minded liberal. Believe it or not, she was attracted to me because of my interest in politics and the fact that I am right-leaning . I also went out on a few dates with a cute conservative woman that was into history almost as much as I am. You just have to know where to find them.

So true, and so sad. For every woman that is politically knowledgeable, there are 1000 who define themselves by whatever musical niche market they fall under. But I am sure there are plenty of guys just as shallow, though you might have to replace music with sports in some cases.

You just have to choose the right kind of girls, and modify your standards beyond "She's hot, I'd do her." Likewise, not every guy is an oblivious sex fiend. Some of us are interested in what a woman says along with her body. After all, you got to have something to do while you are waiting for her to get drunk and ask you to come back home with her. J/K.

There's some truth to it, and I agree with much of it, but I haven't quite lost hope yet.
It's very important for Dems not to allow other points of view into their lives, lest they be proven wrong.
