That's gratifying.

I attended a rally held in Hershey, PA last week where the attendance was 31,000+ and the enthusiasm was electrifying. But it occurred in the middle of traditionally conservative territory, so it's difficult to judge whether the response was indicative of anything more than that.

Joanie, I had a talk with a co-worker at lunch today. He's a guy probably in his early 60's who has NEVER voted republican in his life and he's voting for Bush. I think there are a lot like him out there, at least let's hope so.

At this stage of the campaign, going to your base and firing them up to GET OUT THE VOTE is the name of the game.
