"My wife goes ape over Brit."
I got a thing for Brit too. I guess it is his calm way, he is just a teddy bear, one just wants to hug him.
To: kristinn
He looks a least twenty years younger than Kerry. Are you sure you are not talking about Hume's father?

Thanks, and ironically I just turned on CSPIN and there was Sammon giving a talk about his book Misunderestimated.
Sadly, I see Brit Hume as part of the media establishment trying to show how 'fair' they are by allowing the lies of the left the same credibility as the truth.

LOLOL......are you a regular tin foil hatter that calls into CSPIN and damns the Washington Times as a tool of Moon?

Brit is the smartest, sexiest man in television news
I like Hume too, but I think you may be getting a little carried away. :)
Count me in the "a little carried away" group, too, then.

This probably won't be a popular comment in some quarters, but it's pretty tough to be 60+ and still be sexy--man or woman. IMHO, of course.
To: martin_fierro
i know you love him. can't believe he was pals with Kerry~!

Neo-conservatives get in a lather whenever one of their heroes is better looking than Michael Moore or Madeline Albright. for your info, conservative women take more than looks into consideration when conjuring up images of what is sexy or not... we're not so shallow as to think someone is sexy because they have "nice hair." heck, take a poll here, and i bet Dick Cheney would be considered sexiest man alive... (sure, we like his looks; but we especially appreciate his mind, spirit and "gravitas.")

I'd be a happy camper if it were just Special Report, the Big Story and Fox & Friends on FoxNews. i'd like to add Neil Cavuto to that... this guy tells it like it is...

Hey! Wait a minute! After suffering through 8 years of the Clintonistas and their herds of trolls, freaks and Uber Ugly degenerates, Brit Hume is a bleeding ADONIS!
Please! We're entitled to the few conservative joys that come our way!

Hume is my favorite. He always seems to address hysterical rants from the left with quiet reason. He lets the panel say their piece and participates as a pundit on Sundays. Most of all, he doesn't himself and politics so seriously: he's lighthearted and laughs... his show always closes with a parody or clip with everyone laughing.
Back in the day, I really enjoyed This Week with David Brinkley when Brit was on the panel or part of a segment. Special Report follows a very similar format.
Good article.

Funny thing is I started watching Fox news during the 2000 election Oreilly was my favorite. I kept watching for Hannity and Colmes and started watching Brit just because he was on after Hannity and Colmes. Now I can't stand Oreilly, rarely watch Hannity and Colmes 3 hrs a day is enough. But I think Brits show is the best news and commentary show on TV.My wife thinks he's sexy but also says he looks like a hound dog, go figure. If that's sexy I'm Antonio Banderas.

I had quite a crush on Cheney--I remember back when he was running in the primaries for Prez--what year was that? And I thought, "That is one very attractive man! " I also found his wry, underestated personality unusual in politics . He can say more with a lifted eyebrow than anyone I've ever seen. Never could understand this "mean" rap he's gotten--nobody is as cool, courteous and quiet as Cheney.

Oh please stop. He supported the CIC going to war.
Moreover, I don't expect every broadcaster to adhere to my particular idiology nor do I expect anyone here to either.
Out of curiousity - who is holding elected office today do you consider a 'true conservative'? Not why.. just a name.
