I hear it was in Fallujah. Wonder if it's a part of the push to clean up that hell hole. God Bless the soldiers who sacrifice every day.

That sucks. I hope those bastards in Fallujia get theirs and then a extra dose. We need to hit these bastards harder. We can continue to try the soft approach, and the media will simply continue to report all the weddings and parties we have bombed.

May their families find peace.

Prayers for our soldiers, especially Lance Corp. Lindsay Cox from Michigan. She's Republican Att. Gen. Mike Cox's 18 year old daughter.

MSNBC (Jim Maceda) reported the deaths of eight Marines in Fallujah, with a number of injured. My prayers for the souls of of brave dead Marines and for the swift recovery of those injured.

Just a hunch. This sounds like heavy contact in front of a reinforced position. We could be in the midst of an assault. Again, just a hunch.

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Can you spell MOAB in Fallujah. Give the civilians a few days to get out, then "there she blows!" Talk about exterminating a rats nest.

I'm wondering if the second battle for Fallujah has begun. One would think that 17 total casualties(9 injured as well as 8 kia) in one engagement would indicate that something big is going on.

Prayers for our military, and lift up the families of these brave warriors who gave all.

I hope so. And this time, I hope to hell we finish the job.

I don't know how much is in the MSM right now. But I can safely tell you that there has been a mjor fore fight in Fallujah. The Marines are kicking a$$ and taking names. I HATE URBAN COMBAT.

Semper Fi.

The only prayer threads DU has is when they pray for our troops to die. < /not sarcastic>
