It would have possibly turned off swing voters who'd see it as last minute dirty tricks (not knowing this thing has been brewing for months).
Let's see their "proof."
I've suspected for days that the reason the media, like Fox and Rush, haven't really made a stink about the VC docs and the discharge is that the Bush administration has asked them not to.
They seem to think they have a good lock on this, and Kerry's people are freaking out, so they probably don't see the risk as worth it. It might be played as a last minute smear or dirty tricks shot by the administration and actually hurt more than help.
If that's the case, then it's good news, because they must have good reason to think they've got it in the bag. If they lose, well, then I guess they'll wish they had made these valid points before the election. Let's just hope they don't have to come to terms with hindsight.
That is correct ... there would also have been no time for it to play out which leaves it in limbo and thus a non confirmable story. If this was two weeks ago it would have been excellent. As it stands, however, it's going to prove moot because BC04 and the SwiftVets have adequately exposed the failing flaws of Hanoi John French Kerry's character and candidacy and will vote accordingly. However, given the extent of treasonous acts committed by HJFK, I think it's only appropriate to continue consideration of such issues so that Teresa is reminded of who's really sleeping in the room next door to her and why his insanical nightmares and violent outrages in the middle of the night are not because of his 3 months in Vietnam but sourced to other demons that pervade him.
Too bad about the timing.
