I get the sense that the Kerry/NY Times/60 Minutes fiasco has legs, especially when you consider that Bush got his best numbers when the natl guard forgeries came to light.
America doesn't like a false smear, especially when it involves the military.
The next attack with be a military smear. Tomorrow's 60 Minutes program is to highlight problems with armored vehicles. The main point: Bush is sending these kids into battle and their vehicles are getting blown up because they aren't heavily armored.
Don't expect them to say that Kerry voted against the $87 appropriation.
I also believe most Americans support their President.
At least here in Rural Missouri the energy reminds me of how we all pulled together after 9/11!
