The question in which party will the Charles Keating Senator be the Presidential candidate?
To: bootless
Oops, forgot CFR. McCain has done so many things to frost my shorts that I can't remember them all. The man is a skunk.
To: PolishProud
I WILL NOT VOTE FOR McINSANE.

He would never win as a Democrat either. They only like him for his backstabbing skills. They don't REALLY like him.

I'm not excited. But he's better than any Democrat, unless Zell can pump things up.

Saints preserve us! No- please no!
I seriously don't think the man is balanced. Honestly, I think his time as a POW affected him permanently.
I don't know WHO we'll have in '08, but McCain is NOT what I want for a candidate.

McCain holds sway over one constituency: the mainstream media.....which would turn on him in a second if he won the Republican nomination. He would not have won the Presidency in 2000 and all the dirty laundry in his past would have been out there. He is better off having lost.
I respect his courage in facing the years in NV prison, but I do not like him at all.
To: PolishProud
McCain wouldn't be able to take AZ in the primaries. The RINO is lucky if he gets polite applause at rallys.
Hugh Hewitt brought this topic to us at a recent rally of about 600 in AZ. His opinion was that Owens was good but probably wouldln't want the job. Rudy would not pass with the "evangelical right." He mentioned McCain as a "frontrunner," the room went silent, he seemed a little surprised and moved on. He had two picks...if I could only remember who they were.

I agree. I don't think McCain or Hagel will make it out of Iowa.
To: Callahan
I think regardless of who wins (which I think will be Bush - I think he's ahead by 3 to 5 points) Giuliani will have to be very clever to win the nomination. I think he'll have more difficulty winning the nomination than he would winning the election.
To: TruthCanHurt
Mayor Giuliani would be the best I can think of. He is highly respected by both parties... His biggest flaw is that his name is difficult to spell. The biggest flaw I can think of is that he is pro-abortion and pro-homosexual marriage. Ain't gonna happen.
To: PolishProud
John McCain, bless his soul, is going to kill himself one day.
He'll trip running to make it in front of a camera and break his neck.
