Activist, philosopher and part-time rocker, Jon Bon Jovi spoke at an Edwards rally in Raliegh, NC last week. He said, "What qualifies John Edwards? I'll tell you what qualifies him. He's raised a family, he's worked for everything he's got and his daddy didn't give him nothin!" That's not an exact quote but it's pretty close. So here you have a millionaire rock star trying to personalize a millionaire trial-lawyer senator to a group of rich-hating Democrats. My mind is boggled.

When I think about how long it took toxic dumps and hair spray to collectively evolve into that New Jerseyite it always makes me smile. Bon Jovi talking, however, makes me puke. That guy is slimier than Oscar the Grouch's bedpan. How can people listen to him?
