Heard John Miller on TV this morning state that when the terrorists want something to go directly to USA they give it to ABC. If they want it to go to the arab world they give it to Al Jazeera and CNN.

Instead of the Body Armor story maybe they'll show how kerry refused to vote for spending for the troops!! I can't stop laughing just thinking how absurd that would be. Instead I'll have to try and guess when Cold Case comes on. I just checked what was on CBS and it was the Swiftvets commercial. How cool is that!!

What the al Qaeda propagandists fail to tell the viewers is that if at approx 12 pounds per aquare foot, a 3ftx10ft skirt of 5/16 inch steel plate on either side of a 2 1/2 ton truck would weight 720 lbs. So, what was a 2 1/2 ton truck is now a 1 3/4 ton truck, a 30 percent reduction in cargo capacity which will require 30 percent more missions.

A skirt on either side of the bed offers very insignificant protection to troops in the bed and virtually none in the cab. Furthermore, where an RPG might previously have passed harmlessly through the open space of the cargo bed, it will now hit the protective skirt. Just part of the reason why Patton described just such extra armor as being "the stupidest thing he ever saw" and ordered it's immediate removal.

From what I understand, many of the men that stormed Normandy came to shore in carriers made of plywood and died before ever reaching shore. I bet their families didnt go to the media to complain though. They just remembered their son as a hero that gave his life for his country.
This show is the pathetic, me centered dem way of looking at the world.
