I would love to see how Kerry spins this into Bush questioning his "patriotism" --- that is the first thing they always scream about.
If Kerry had ANY sense of humor he might have a smidgen of personality. But he is the one that never falls or does dumb stuff.

Yeah. And it would have been funny if Karen and Karl had clipped "daisy zipper pulls" on their camo jackets.
Easy to second guess them, but one in a wet suit, another in the camo and another in the bicycle getup with the helmet, would have been even that much better.

Kerry is extremely thin-skinned. He couldn't even take a little ribbing from Lynne Cheney when he turned his face that ridiculous orange color. Not good for a candidate or elected official to not be able to laugh a bit at themselves from time to time.

Ya know, I hate to say this but Rove is acting like a horse's ass and treating this campaign like a big joke. He doesn't seem to realize that if the President loses, he will be the red meat that's tossed to the Kerry DOJ over the Plame investigation. I personally don't appreciate this kind of puerile behavior, both this and the kneeling in front of the nose gear of Air Force One.

I have screamed at my tv that very same question many times in the last several days. What kind of person would buy into his nonsense? Kerry is so transparent, fake, and pathetic.... how could ANYONE vote for this man as our Commander in Chief?????
And yet I hear the polls, and keep hearing how close the election is. I don't understand.
Just a thought but I wouldn't put it past Karen Hughes to do this partly for Bush supporters like us whose anxiety level is climbing all the time.
I don't want to read anymore than that into it, but I don't know if I would be in the mood to do that if I knew Bush's numbers were not good. So maybe it is a good sign.
Went to Lafayette this weekend to pick up my dad and then took 231 back to Bloomington and then back here to Southern Indiana....The "MY Man MItch" signs are everywhere......ratio of at least 10-1. (They're almost always with Bush & Scott signs.) Someone has really been working the rural areas of the state. How much trouble is Bayh in? Have you heard anything in Indy?
