So...even with the disease he was still more effective than Carter, Mondale, Clinton, Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Edwards, Kennedy all rolled into one large lump of wasted flesh......tell CNN to put that in their pipe and smoke it!!
Egads, these people are DESPERATE...Got to be a reason why.
LOL Great thought.
Who or what is CNN?
I'd bet 72 year old Zell Miller could take him...
He's lying to himself this time, and trying to create a false image for himself again. He's another Clinton, never done a single worthwhile thing in his life, and is trying to come up with some (any) claim to fame. It's downright funny the way he's trying to look like a manly man. Unfortunately, the harder he tries, the more he looks like a girley-man. There are thousands of 60-year old men more fit than him. He should stick to trying to be a war hero. That one really gets a laugh every time.
Forest Gump's mama had it right when she told her son,
"stupid is as stupid does".
But some people just look stupid.
Ron junior is one of THOSE.
Who cares what they say, Reagan already has his legacy and its firmly established and nothing can be done by them to change it. Jimmy Carter has his legacy and there ain't a thing that will change that one either. All it does is piss off every person who has an Alzheimer's patient in their family.
Filthy lying scumbags!
Die, CNN, die!
Governor or President?
I know a HUGE contingent of people with mental disabilities who will take issue with mental illness being characterized as Alzheimer's. I will pass along the thread. If the networks cannot be sensitive and informed about their reports and their 'facts' then they should have to suffer the consequences.
Slamming Pres. Reagan yet they have had no problem in the past promoting Carter who is crazy as a loon (saying things like the American Revolution was unecessary that King George would have eventually freed us)....tells ya everything ya need to know about these commie rats
imo
Speaking of Kennedy, he was on some mighty powerful drugs while serving as President. THey got any problems with that?
This isn't news (and of course, I'm not slamming you for posting it here, btw).
But this was what the media harped on right after RR left office, from what I remember.
So now they trot this old news out, to do what? Somehow infer that it's a slam against Bush, I suppose.
Well, they might rope in a few undecideds with this.
But if anyone is still undecided at this point, let's hope they're not going to bother to vote.
LOL Me too!
Louis Gottschalk, a noted psychiatrist, is on record as saying that Reagan showed clinical signs of the earliest stages of impairment towards the end of his second term. He was respectful enough of Reagan and the Presidency to keep this comment to himself until RR had made his Alzheimer's announcemnt. I do not believe it diminishes RR's legacy in the least to conjecture this-- if anything, as has been pointed out on this thread, it is all the more awesome that he accomplished what he did with half his brain literally tied behind his back. What a remarkable man.
There was a interview...from about five years ago, where Nancy talked about the period after the shooting. And she did indicate that there was both a physical and mental difference after the shooting that bothered RR. The amount of trauma involved could be a cause for some mental difference...but CNN's words that he was in absolute decline...are totally bogus.
