This whole "Guardian--Operation Clark County" fiasco and watching parliament on C-Span have me disgusted. If Americans tried to influence your vote vis a vis an election or other internal issue, how would you feel? And please don't tell me that Kyoto is not an internal issue. BTW, I think "cooler heads" has been the problem in the past, (i.e., Clinton not capturing OBL when he had a chance prior to 9/11--"what would the world community think", etc, etc..)
I've given up trying to argue with people like you. If people like yourself ever become a majority in America, then I'd be hard pressed to find a good reason to argue the value of the alliance - 70 British dead in Iraq for example, and yet the slightest thing a stupid newspaper does, the slightest thing some idiots in Parliament say, totally invalidates that sacrifice. It's difficult to argue for an alliance if the people you're acting in aid of are constantly telling you "up yours".
