1600 people died in Montreal's hospitals in 2003 due to dirty conditions which created fatal infections. Mark Steyn (conservative writer) living in NH but a Canuck blasted Kerry on Canada's health care. Steyn is outstanding.

BTW - Canadians want drug exports to stop because they are subsidizing the cheap canuck drugs for US taxpayers.

That's an interesting statistic . Given that there were 7,000 infections involving Clostridium difficile from April of 2003 to April of 2004. More than 600 of those cases were fatal .

You might want to consider this ,

09 Aug 2004

An average of 195,000 people in the USA died due to potentially preventable, in-hospital medical errors in each of the years 2000, 2001 and 2002, according to a new study of 37 million patient records that was released today by HealthGrades, the healthcare quality company.
