Now I hope all those new gun owners learn to safely handle and shoot. Lest I be thought inconsistent, I don't shoot, but have had gun safely training. My 5 kids have all been well trained, and have competitive shooting experience (despite the fact that we live in a city!)

They just don't see the connection at all. What a bunch of tools. They won't acknowledge the connection. Willful fools, yes, but not ignorant or passive. They are fools because being so supports their goals.

Gun ownership up -- crime down. Crooks seeking another line of work.
Only the MSM would see a problem with this. It becomes increasingly obvious the MSM wants guns out of citizens hands. Any reason to accomplish that goal is OK with them. Now that CCWs are widespread the crime canard doesn't work anymore. So the MSM is seeking a new reason to ban guns.

The First Amendment only applies to the left to say what they believe in their translation of the Constitution.
The 2nd Amendment only applies to the military that protects the left's rights.
The conservative Right has no protections under the Constitution according to the left. They tell us to quit complaining. We can't have it both ways.
