In 2000, I held my nose and voted for President Bush despite my reservations about how he would deal with fiscal issues and whether he was ready for the Presidency.
On Tuesday, I will vote to re-elect the President, knowing 100% he's the right person to lead America. There are three reasons I ask you to vote for President Bush.
First, is his leadership. In uncertain times, we need a leader who knows what he believes. President Bush has been consistent that we must fight a multi-front war on terrorism: using intelligence, economic sanctions, and military force when appropriate to stop the spread of terror around the world.
Senator Kerry is a political chameleon changing his color to suit each passing season. While this trait may be understandable, some may say desirable, in a legislator, it is totally unacceptable in a President of the United States.
Many liberals have said that they found it troubling the President won't admit he made a mistake in going to Iraq. I find it far more troubling that Senator Kerry is carrying on like he has had only one position on issues of our security. It shows either pathological deceit or incredible self-deception. Either way, I don't care. America is past the point where we can afford a dysfunctional president with a serious psychosis that needs to be diagnosed and treated.
On September 11th, our President was magnificent in leading our country through its most trying hour. His courage and plain-spoken eloquence was a beacon of hope to us all. President Bush has taken tragedy and turned it into triumph. Just like those who died at Pearl Harbor, those who perished on 9/11, did not die in vain. Today, because of their deaths, tens of millions of people are free, and hundreds of terrorists have been killed so that they can't kill anyone else.
The second issue is character. Contrary to what the media tells us, character is not about who you were 30 years ago, but who you are today. George W. Bush has a moral compass and core values that define his life. He understands the importance of honor and integrity. He has never intentionally misled the American public despite the overheated rhetoric on the left.
What we've seen is a man who cares about people, who comforts grieving windows rather than suggesting they give him sexual favors. He's a man who has learned to follow the right road through trial and error, but like Shakespeare's Henry V he has redeemed himself when men least thought he would.
Much is made of the separation of church and state, but I think America needs a President whose life is not compartmentalized, whose faith is part of who he is, not a façade to gain votes. His faith gives him an anchor in the midst of the storms. It keeps him real and genuine in a city where fantasy often overwhelms truth.
Finally, our President has stood up for America. At the time of the Iraq War, practically no one disputed the presence of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Acting on the information, we had, President Bush obtained a 17th UN resolution. Iraq once again didn't fully comply, so even though the UN wouldn't enforce their own resolution, we attacked.
I'm glad that to have a President who places America's security first. He'll not subordinate our national interests to the whims of corrupt international bureaucrats at the UN. I was proud to see a US President tell the UN that he would not seek a permission slip to defend our country.
There are many challenges our country will face in the next four years with Social Security, the rising deficit, and various other issues, but none of it matters if we are subject to attacks from Weapons of Mass Destruction because of a president who would value the love of the French and avoiding political risks rather than protecting the safety of the American people based on the best information we have.
The choice between George W. Bush and John Kerry is nothing less than a choice over issues of life and death. This election is not a game as the pollsters believe. It is about issues of war and peace, with lives hanging in the balance as we vote.
Therefore, for the survival of our nation, there is but one man on the ballot with the leadership, integrity, and priorities to lead this country for four more years. My vote, without reservation will go to George W. Bush.
I've been voting since the early 70's and I have never been more sure as to who I will vote for in this election. Only God himself will keep me from voting for Georwe W. Bush.

I just tried to vote early. The lines were so long, I decided to vote tomorrow. I have never seen this many people at the polls a day before election. There's a whole lot of voting going on. Hope it's good for Bush.
Is this why the MSM is talking about REAGAN having Alzheimer's while still in office? Trying to say a precedent has been established.

My Uncle is voting for Bush and he is voting for Deomcrats all of his life. It was the stuff from this site that I e-mailed him..
