24% of voters voted early, pulling 50-44 for the incumbent. Of the remaining people who have not yet voted, what percentage of them must vote for the challenger in order for him to reach 50% of the total vote?

Kerry needs to carry the remaining vote with a 1.9% advantage to break even.

"Don't think I'm going out on a limb by saying most, if not all, of that 4 percent that refused to answer voted for BUSH, IMO."

Concur. I can't imagine any dem Bush-hater refusing the opportunity to bash Bush one more time by letting the exit polls know who they voted for.

The following was also posted at the same site, and concerns me greatly. I have commented on this several times here on FR. This is the one great unknown, IMO:

"One subject of much discussion in this election is that a growing number of people have no traditional "landline" phones but have cell phones and cannot be reached by traditional telephone surveys."

"Data from our online survey suggest that six percent (6%) of all likely voters now fall into this category and that they are voting strongly for John Kerry by 56 to 38 percent over President Bush."

"These results suggest that telephone surveys which miss almost everyone without landlines will, even if they are accurate, slightly overestimate President Bush's vote and slightly underestimate Senator Kerry's vote. This also explains a small part of the difference between our online and telephone surveys."

That is very concerning, but hopefully thte GOTV will be enough that that 6 percent won't skew the election.

Good news...but it doesn't matter. even if Bush is shown as the likely winner at 6pm, still get out and vote, every single vote counts!! do it! this is a MUST WIN VICTORY!
Let's hope this will be a celebration tomorrow.

If Badnarik is such a "loser" why are you pounding your fist in anger. Perhaps he is not such a loser after all eh?

Boomer that was AWESOME!!!!!....really great and I really love the Patton soundtrack you used very inspiring!

Thank you my fellow Freeper for that welcome relief.

Now lets home Dubya pounds Kerry into dust and relegates him to the ash heap of history tonight.......
