That is not true...the economy in Hawaii is booming....tourism has been good since 9-11. That is why the state is leaning for Bush.

Tourism there was sh!t for a year or so after 9/11, but is good now, I agree. They don't want it to happen again. Right after 9/11, the missus and I went there. We flew round trip from Columbus, OH for $308 each - ROUND TRIP. We stayed on Waikiki beach for $65 a night and had a balcony with a view (from the balcony only). Tourism was DEVASTATED at that time. They learned their lesson.

It is a shame, however that moral resolve and right and wrong doesn't motivate people as much anymore, and it has to hit them in the pocketbook to catch their attention.

I think I may have not been clear.
I said Hawaii was really hurt right after 9-11.
It took them almost a year to get people back.
I know this because we honeymooned there about one year after 9-11. Everyone told us that same thing.
That 9-11 killed their economy.
Alot of their tourism comes from Asia. International flights were suspended longer than the domestic flights after 9-11.

I made a mistake on my orginal post Bush wil not win Ohio.
He will win FL, Iowa, CO, NM, Hawaii, Nevada. Total EV 270.
