I had a three hour phone conversation with my sister who lives in Los Angeles(HB) whom already voted for Kerry absentee. By the end of the phone call, since she leans moderate, I had her feeling pretty regretful and guilt ridden. Wish I had spoken to her sooner. Politics was never a topic and I always assumed converting a Californian would be fruitless anyway..

No matter HOW the election goes, we need to organize to defeat the mainstream media, so they don't wield this partisan power again. We need to work on this starting NOW. Agree? What is the best way?
Do you know anything about the 14th Amendment and not being in public office after aiding the enemy. Did Kerry get past that by being pardoned by Jimmy Carter? I don't think I have ever seen that discussed anywhere. I got something about it in an email today.
Agree. A good starting point would be for us to boycott CBS sponsors. They need to get the message.

Thanks for the link. Will look into this, but please know that our cars have Bush/Cheney stickers (I drive through enemy territory everyday!) and my son and I supported the local campaign office by putting signs up along major highways in our area.
If Kerry loses, no one will give his record a second thought. If he wins, the media will continue to cover for him as they did Clinton.
My friend I appreciate your effort thus far, but we HAVE to give every once of sweat blood and toil to this.
I live near Ithaca, the most liberal City in New York, if not America, and I did every thing you have done and THEN I made the phone calls.

Thanks for answering. I admit I am still confused about the things I have read about his security clearance being pulled and then the different pieces of information about him having a less than honorable discharge. Today is the first time I have received anything pertaining to the 14th Amendment.
MSM is really ignorant of their problem I think.
