If our state does NOT elect Gregoire, I'll do away with my "Washington: The tri-bi*** state" poster/sticker idea.

The willing tools of the left strike again in Washington state. The only difference between the LP and the Democrats here is the Dems are honest about who and what they are.

Hmmmm, the Republicans may not have persuaded enough people to vote for their candidate. Ain't that something?

They may try to blame it on others.

Chances are, more democrats voted for the Libertarian out of hate for Gregoire. Most democrats I know readily admit she's a horrible candidate.

Rossi now leads 915,212 to 914,351, with the 861 vote margin hold up to a recount? We shall see.

How do we know that the LP candidate is taking votes that would otherwise have gone to Dino? My understanding is that LP candidates usually takes as many or more votes from the left, especially when they run on a drugs-and-gay-marriage platform like this one did.

Rossie didn't lose any votes to the Libertarians. She simply failed to convince them to vote for her.

Republicans, it's really not that hard to understand.

You have used your control of all three branches of the federal government to make government bigger, more expensive and more intrusive. By your repeated actions, you have proven yourselves to be against the principles of constitutional, limited government.

Therefore libertarians won't vote for you.

Because you have decieved us before, we don't believe you when you say you'll reduce the size of government. So if you want our votes in the future, you're going to have to prove to us that you want smaller government through the actions your currently elected officials.

And when you fail to do so (and you will), don't be surprised when we don't vote for you next time either.

Now that isn't too hard to understand, is it?

Has anyone considered the possibility that sometimes RINOs simply need a poke in the eye with a sharp stick - just to get their attention?

Libertarian candidacies such as this one are just such a stick, imho.
