Christine Gregoire Dem 911,326 - 49 percent
Dino Rossi Rep 911,294 - 49 percent
Ruth Bennett Lib 38,791 - 2 percent
If our state does NOT elect Gregoire, I'll do away with my "Washington: The tri-bi*** state" poster/sticker idea.
another victory for the Libertarian crackheads
32 VOTES OF SEPERATION!
I would have thought Gregoire would have won in a landslide....
hope Rossi fight hard for this and is willing to do a recount.....
wow, THAT is horrible
what did the libertarians gain here?
The willing tools of the left strike again in Washington state. The only difference between the LP and the Democrats here is the Dems are honest about who and what they are.
32 votes separate the rat from the Republican!!!
They may try to blame it on others.
Chances are, more democrats voted for the Libertarian out of hate for Gregoire. Most democrats I know readily admit she's a horrible candidate.
Preceints not yet counted.
8 in King County
26 in Kittikas
All of Skamania 0 of 25
7 in Whitman.
The 8 in ing county are bad areas the rest are good.
Off Yahoo
Rossi now leads 915,212 to 914,351, with the 861 vote margin hold up to a recount? We shall see.
How do we know that the LP candidate is taking votes that would otherwise have gone to Dino? My understanding is that LP candidates usually takes as many or more votes from the left, especially when they run on a drugs-and-gay-marriage platform like this one did.
Rossie didn't lose any votes to the Libertarians. She simply failed to convince them to vote for her.
The tri-bi's were all together tonight with one of them saying ...the first time Washington State has had two female senators and a governor.....Jeez Louise....
Rossi, Dino Rep 915,212 48.98
Gregoire, Christine Dem 914,351 48.93
Bennett, Ruth Lib 38,957 2.08
You have used your control of all three branches of the federal government to make government bigger, more expensive and more intrusive. By your repeated actions, you have proven yourselves to be against the principles of constitutional, limited government.
Therefore libertarians won't vote for you.
Because you have decieved us before, we don't believe you when you say you'll reduce the size of government. So if you want our votes in the future, you're going to have to prove to us that you want smaller government through the actions your currently elected officials.
And when you fail to do so (and you will), don't be surprised when we don't vote for you next time either.
Now that isn't too hard to understand, is it?
Has anyone considered the possibility that sometimes RINOs simply need a poke in the eye with a sharp stick - just to get their attention?
Libertarian candidacies such as this one are just such a stick, imho.
