How recent is this?
What, are we up to 115% of all precincts reporting now?
just changed a few minutes ago.
Maybe they corrected a "double counting" of some batch of votes?
That is the kind of mistake somebody could make, doing manual calculations, or plugging extra numbers into a computer spreadsheet.
And still 20,000 provisionals in NM still.
Bush should win. But CNN has the votes in the 300K range (Bush up by 11K as this post states). But Fox TV shows the votes in the 200K range.
And earlier I saw the 103% precincts reporting at CNN. Then it was down to 98%.
Last time New Mexico was well ahead for Bush but Gore won by a few hundred by the light of day -- or a few days recounting and recounting.
It stinks all around. Even if Bush wins it, it stinks.
Notice the places where we are not at 100% counts? Yes, they are all Kerry counties. Which means, they will dig up as many votes as it takes for Kerry to win by a few thousand....boy, that was close, but I'm glad we took the time needed to make sure every vote is counted..........what a crock!

They won't call NM for Bush when he is up 11,000 votes in a state of 600,000 total votes and all but 15 precincts reporting.
But... they call Wisconsin for Kerry when he is up by 13,000 votes in a state of 3,000,000 votes and 24 precincts not reporting.

And stupid CNN decides to make it a "green" state, and when did they make it a green state, after the WH asked them to declare NM in the Bush column. But suddenly it's too close to call, even though Bush is ahead by 11,000 votes, and Ohio is too close to call even though Bush is ahead by 144,000 votes.
When America wakes up and see this garbage, especially the Ohio debacle, they'll be mad.
They think the Republicans won big this time, wait till next, when the electorate will see fit to give the Republicans wider margins so they won't try to cheat again.
In 2000 the final margin in NM was;
Bush 286,417
Gore 286,783
Looks like there have been alot more votes cast this year, or perhaps more accurately, alot more votes counted this year...
Name Party Votes Pct
Bush, George (i) Rep 333,525 50.26
Kerry, John Dem 322,571 48.61
So;
2000: 573K
2004(so far): 656K
or a 15% increase...
2000
Instead, we see Tom Brokenjaw say the Democrats have a "right" to do this....
What a bunch of crap.
I don't know what is happening at Nevada...but put that in for Bush, too.
What a bunch of PANSIES.
I read on the Drudge Yahoo real time that New Mexico had a 103% of the votes in and still counting!
Bush was leading inspite of the Dems stack deck!
Now New Mexico adjusted it votes
99% 50B-49K
What happen to the 103% votes in and before that Bush was 51B/48K
It could have been more that Bush was leading!
Bush back up 11,000 in New Old Mexico
Well I am forced to conclude that this little 24,000 'hiccup' in NM and the fact that they have quit counting for the night means that along with a similar problem in 2 counties in Iowa means that this is just what is needed to deny Bush the Presidency if Ohio is stil to be litigated I Dont belive in political coincidences You can smell this unfold by the hour
You just have to look at this the right way.
Picture a cartoon, with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, both of them standing next to the open trunk of their cars, pulling out sacks of ballots. Every time one of them pulls out a sack, the other one pulls out a bigger sack.
The problem for the Demonrats is, Bugs *always* wins - and that's us, wascally Wepubwican wabbits...
