This morning my wife and I decided to turn on the Today show to see how perky Katie would report this. Before it came on I told my wife that if Kerry had won, Katie would be all smiles, joking around and very animated, but I bet she looks like she is going to a funeral today.

When the show came on, there was Katie, completely stone-faced, and wearing a high collar, button up black dress.

We nearly fell out of bed we were laughing so hard!

Couric wore a funeral dress last year also when Bush was fiiiinally declaired the winner. I distinctly remember. It's probably the same dress. Does she still have that cold sore on her lip? HAHAHAHA
