QUOTE: "America has spoken, and I'm humbled by the trust and the confidence of my fellow citizens. With that trust comes a duty to serve all Americans, and I will do my best to fulfill that duty every day as your president." Hearing John Kerry's fateful telephone concession.
Victory!

Sometime in last night's coverage, a reporter explained the delay at the polls in Ohio was all the Republicans who flocked in to vote. During a dark day where all we heard were bogus exit polls, you acted, and stood with President Bush. We're forever in your debt. Thanks to all the FReeper volunteers and voters for returning this good man to office.

Hi, dear sister Gem! Praising our Gracious, Merciful and Loving God for the Victory He Granted to our President, and to us!

THANKS, GEM.
All: Now that we've taken care of the really important things, LOL, what color dress do you think Laura will wear to the Inauguration Ball? (Four years ago, she wore red.)
Somehow, thinking of that Ball just puts the icing on the cake for me. IT'S REAL, IT'S REAL. DUBYA HAS ANOTHER FOUR YEARS. Thank you, God.

Great shot in Bush in the Oval Office. Would have hated to see John Kerry in there.

A VERY spectacular day, a glorious day, and I'm so thankful for our President and his wonderful family. I'm barely coherent after two extremely short nights (following Daschle hearing on Mon. night), but I couldn't be happier!
And now some more pictures to add to my collection. Thanks, Gretchen!

Thank you for the great thread / pix Gretchen.. What a relief & what a joy .
Last week during play offs ACR reported she was losing her nails (some disease called "playoffs").
Today my fingers were strangely hurting when I woke up. When I looked, I could not believe that my finger nails were GONE. I had obviously been picking, biting (who knows what) and didn't even realize it. I took off SO much that I was into the skin & was bleeding on almost all of them.
I had a 15 + hour of poll watching but did NOT think I was doing that. Was intense. Not sure when. I felt a lot better at the victory vote watch party / get together by the GOP later in evening. Maybe watching MSM caused the nervousness.
Now I didn't have glamor nails by any means.. but they were a nice length & in pretty good shape. Mentioning this to point out that we have all been under a lot of stress seeing our beloved POTUS at the mercy of foreign leaders, Hollyweird, MSM, a vicious opponent, and tasteless flaming libs in general.
