When President Bush first came on the stage today, he seemed almost in shock because he was so subdued. Perhaps he was remembering he was robbed of a similar moment in 2000.

But then he started to speak and it was a superb speech and he seemed more like himself.

What a great victory!!!!

Fox (I think it was Jim Angle) said Bush went to bed at 5 AM and got up at 7 AM! Maybe that accounts for some of his subdued demeanor?

Wil McClung, a student from Colorado Springs, Colorado, watches live TV coverage at an election party hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Beijing Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004. Chinese and Americans were invited to watch election results on live TV.

He seemed almost overwhelmed with emotion, didn't he, and I'm sure by the gravity of the moment.
