Actually, I think we shouldn't prod them. I agree - it's not as though they're relevant anymore...

Fox has been slowly hinting at a more liberal underside over the past month but this week they have practically gone completely over to behaving just like the other networks.
I'm done with them too. I'm sticking to the New Media for news from now on.

Relax. The race is over. Don't worry about them.
I "watched" the race with 8 web sites and a radio.
It is much less frustrating.

a provisional ballot is provisional because it is questionable... many will not be legit votes.

I agree with you completely. And they just wouldn't allow us to open the champagne, screwing up the joy - just like in 2000. Well, %$#** to THEM! WE partied anyway!

My b#^&h is that the MSM was call California for Kerry, 5 minutes after the polls closed with 0% of the precincts in.
12 hours after the polls close, with 100% of the precincts in, they couldn't call states for Bush
Bias, oh, couldn't be!!

They are trying to make it look like this was alot closer in the electorial college then it was (a repeat of 2000)
And they do not want to admit that Bush took two Gore states.
They talk about every vote counting and yet will not count entire states!
To: GeronL
I understand that....but until they are examined, the presumption has to be that they are actual votes.

Have they still not called New Mexico and Iowa for Bush?!?!?
To: My Favorite Headache
I think a lot of this can be traced back to Kerry/Edwards and their insistence that every vote be counted. Iowa and New Mexico are formerly blue states, which galls them no end. Kerry is trying to redeem something to burnish his legacy, i.e., he didn't lose any of the Gore blue states and won a red state, New Hampshire.
You can bet Bill Richardson will do everything possible to win New Mexico for Kerry. Bill is thinking about being Hillary's running mate in 2008.

Well according to a lot of the maps like on C-Span and Yahoo...they give NM to Bush as a red state but none of the networks have called it.
To: My Favorite Headache
Go to CNN and check the map out. The answer is NO except for the AP calling Bush for NM.

Same with NM. Some FReepers are doing double duty by watching the absentee/provisional vote count here to prevent fat rat King Bill from fluffing his promise to Slick carry NM for Kerry.
As reported on the NM board, they could use some more volunteers for the ABQ count.
