There's a small part of me that hopes they do, but the honest truth is that they're too stupid, hateful, and out of of touch with the reality of America to listen, which in a way is good for us I guess.
They think they're enlightened and we're ignorant so the likelihood of them changing is greatly diminished. In order for the hard core Donks to change they must see that their path is wrong, not just that it isn't working and THAT isn't likely to happen.
Good for us? I don't know, it's certainly irritating for those of us living in the "blue" Northeastern States, that's for sure.
A talk radio caller today shared that anyone who disagrees with gay marriage must be one of those scary, ignorant evangelical Christians and both the talk show host and his sidekick agreed with the caller.
So, is that kind of mindset in America "good for us?" Not really. I hate the drift of our moral values toward this "enlightened" PC anything goes, value system.
