Pundits have been trying to analyze this election and so far they came out with some unanswerable mysteries that could have been caused by a more superior Being. I know these things could have only occurred during the biblical times and cannot or should not happen during the 21st century.
But so far as it stands the election of President Bush exceeded all elections for the past 16 years. We all know now that there were more voters that voted for him now than his last election in the year 2000 and as a result the difference in votes between him and Kerry has been the largest ever between 2 candidates. Statistics show that he got over 50% of the votes compared to previous elections when the winner managed to get less than amount.
Furthermore, the pundits, newspapers and the polltakers have always predicted that the results will be too close. Now that we have the results, they were all wrong.
But what amazes me other than the above, are the facts that (1) the exit polls predicted that Senator Kerry would win and (2) this is the first time that I know that a candidate would return to the place where he won on election day to “thank” the voters before they cast their votes. Call them what you want to call them but in the eyes of many these two are considered unexplainable or my grandmother would say “miracles”.
This election was the first time when the forecast results of exit polling were entirely wrong. All those numbers were analyzed – through the techniques of forecasting like “regression analysis”, “least squares”, etc. could not have been wrong. But they were. Why? What caused them?
Then you try to analyze the reason why the President going to Ohio from Crawford, Texas on the morning of Election Day, before the votes were counted, to “thank” the voters. What caused President Bush to take this step when it was never done before? Any rational politician wont try this approach because this will cause his voters to delay going to vote specially during a rainy and stormy weather that drenched the entire state. Coincidence?
We all know that the President always say his prayers before he goes to bed and he proudly say this - to ask God for His guidance. Therefore it is not far fetch to assume that in his conversation with God, God told him to go to Ohio, where the election will be decided and thank the voters.
I was watching TV when the President cast his vote during Election Day. I am sure that many of us who watched, saw that he was so upbeat as if he was sure of winning. Of course all optimists posses such attitude, but it was contrary to what we have been hearing that the election results would be too close.
It is possible that the trip could have been planned a while way back as we all know that when a President makes a trip there is always too much planning and logistics to be considered. But still, what caused this event to be planned.
God only knows.
And the liberals will never come up with good answers either. At this point, it was a “double whammy” that hit them. The last time I heard they are still at a daze.
i don't think there has ever been so much national prayer for an election as there was for this one. I have certainly never prayed over an election before, and I've been praying every day for the last month. There were calls for prayer everywhere. God answered, it against some huge odds. Be sure we all say that prayer of thanks.
No offense, but I don't see these as anything even close to miraculous. The exit polls were jiggered with; the candidate didn't "win" election day in Crawford, or DC--he won it in the U.S.
Sometimes stuff just happens, too.

Are you serious? They are not 'unexplainable' unless you don't bother to think them through.
1. The new exit poll group was set up as flawed as the previous incarnation. The samples were rotten, either by bad practices or by the dems getting notice of survey locations and stuffing the exit polls. Bad data in = bad data out.
Incompetence or bias by the MSM is not a miracle.
2. Ohio and florida were the lynchpin in the campaign and Karl Rove knew it. With their latest polls they knew FL should be in good hands, so they concentrated their efforts on ohio. The GOTV effort there was absolutely HUGE. The President's trip on election day was meant to rally the troops who would be doing all the GOTV effort AND get publicity from local stations. It's a calculated move based on their strategery, not some miracle.
If you want to point to a miracle, point to the fact that the majority of americans were able to see through the lies put out by the MSM for the past several years.
Almost 60 million people saved America on Tuesday (by the grace of God). Many of them say they don't believe in God, but to me it was still His grace that led them to know they were responsible for the fate of this country.
But what is there to believe--that Bush stopped in Texas, then went to DC? Well, ok, I believe it--where's the miracle in that?
The exit ballots were messed with by Democrats (if you believe Dick Morris), or were messed up by accident. OK--where is the miracle?
I guess I don't understand your point. If you say, for example, "I saw a crippled man walk," OK, I see the miracle there. What is the miracle part of Bush starting his day in TX and ending it in DC, or bad polling?

One aspect of the prophetic word was that in the 2004 national election Ohio will become a deciding force; there will be a breakthrough in revelation of God's word in Ohio, and energy from heaven would be released there; the revelatory sword of the Lord would do surgery on that state, and the outcome of the presidential election was going to somehow be determined by what takes place in Ohio.
So please pray for the state of Ohio.

I am so encouraged by the Christians who prayed and worked hard to re-elect President Bush. We have shown the rest of America that Christians are a force to respect instead of ridicule. They have continually denigrated and ignored Conservative Christians. Now, they know that we will stand up and fight for our country. We will stand up and fight for God.
I had tears in my eyes yesterday. I feel that the hand of God moved in this election. He wanted us to stand up and be counted. He wanted us to fight for what is right. He wanted us to acknowledge him. With his help, we showed the country and the world that we are not afraid to show our faith. We are not afraid to stand out against abortion and gay marriage. With Bush being re-elected, the Democrats and MSM cannot ignore the fact that there is a larger Conservative Christian movement than they expected or even knew existed.
Are you telling me that the guys who planned and took the sampling were high school kids rather than professional statisticians?
I don't think CBS or the NY Times helped in the planning and collection. Than I will understand why.
Yes it is easy to come up with a conclusion but is that conclusion factual?

Remember, VNS was so bad after 2000 they got rid of it. In 2002 they called that the democrats gained seats in congress when the opposite was true.
It is a system run by idiots who can't see their methodolgy is fatally flawed. Exit polls shouldn't even exist.
