This was an enormous threat to our Legislature by an extremely well funded and well organized movement.

It was carried out in a particularly dishonest, untruthful, and intimidating manner.  About the only outward evidence people saw in the districts was a lot of slick, well-produced mailings from organizations with names like "MassEquality", telephone polling, canvassing, cars in the neighborhoods with out of state license plates, a lot of activity.  But to pro-marriage incumbents, it was frightening – something they'd never seen before.  Although several of these endorsements were only made public this past week, in other cases it was clear from the beginning.

We focused on protecting incumbents, but also helped other campaigns. Although we were only able to raise a fraction of the money they brought in, we also helped mobilize people in the districts and elsewhere.  We did our best to figure out where we could be most effective with the resources we had, and went to work!

Article 8 Alliance worked with several races behind the scenes.  We did educational mailings to voters exposing the stealth campaigns, deceitful tactics, and true agendas of these groups and their candidates.  The results should speak for themselves.

Out of 200 seats in the House and Senate, the homosexuals could only pull out an overall net gain of 2 supporters in the open-seat elections, nothing more.

(Mitt Romney's State Republican Party, by the was no help at all. They refused to campaign on the same-sex marriage issue. They held back support from strong pro-marriage candidates. In fact, they funded pro-gay marriage candidates. And as a result, the Republicans suffered a net loss in both the House and Senate! So the heavy lifting on this issue was left to Article 8 Alliance.)

Victories just keep piling up :-) Neo-socialist criminals and their radical homosexual cohorts have taken one hell of a beating. Now we need to finish them off.

(Mitt Romney's State Republican Party, by the was no help at all.)

Mitt Romney's candidates ran nasty, nasty campaigns. They tried to sneak in Republicans as Independents. They actually tried to get a candidate from Cambridge in over a popular State Senator to represent Plymouth and the Cape.

The negative trash they were running as political ads was so bad it made Barney Frank more popular than ever in comparison.

Keep voting their perverse candidates out of office and they will be powerless. (as they should be primarily)

Anti-homosexual activism has payed off! Keep the pressure on and the truth out.

As incredible as it sounds, people like Fwanks actually believe that those who engage in homosexual behavior are not only culturally enlightened, but physiologically advanced as well. They call people like us {heterosexuals} 'breeders" and other derogatory terms.

Not really. He is in a gerry-mandered district that includes his hometown of Newton, and slithers down through Taunton, Middleboro, Fall River suburbs. He has had to figure out how to represent construction, cranberry bog, fishing industry, and ethnic Portughese concerns. He has gotten high marks for his willingness to learn and adapt to a population that was pretty much designed to let him lose.

At least one of these towns, Middleboro (and probably others) voted for GWB.

I didn't realize this. I assumed that with the poor showing of Republicans, the forces of same sex marriage were simply further entrenched. Good news!

Many Congratulations! Work toward kicking out Mit Romney next. I am fed up with Republicans who tittie with the left then expect conservatives to vote for them.
