Untrue!!!! Kerry had zero leverage to try pulling lawyer stunts in Ohio due to:
1) The Bush-Cheney win would be confirmed by any uncounted absentee and provisional ballots. It might have taken 10 days for a final tally but Bush would won
2) Americans would take a dim view of GWBush being stymied in Ohio when he won nationwide by more than three million votes and additional Republican Senators and Congressmen were elected
Your absolutely right, they had no chance. The numbers could not lie and they would have got beat about the head for trying to push the same type of type Gore pushed. Do not fool yourself for a minute, if they any slight chance at all....they would have gone for it.
