I voted for Bush because I will not have Bruce Springsteen, Gerhard Schroeder, Osama Bin Laden and Michael Moore telling me who to vote for.

There's a stupidity factor with liberals that probably relates to narcissism. They're too arrogant, egotistical, secular and materialistic to understand that they can't win votes by insulting people.

I voted for President Bush because I want to LIVE, and I don't want to see our Churches and synagogues burned and our women forced into burkahs.

I voted for President Bush, because he like me had made mistakes in our younger years. He like me, does not speak so smoothly. He like me, is a person of Faith, yet we know we sin daily and we do not put our Faith in others faces. I love W, because he is from West Texas and he like I know that people are generally good. We trust people, we surround ourselves with others. We love our military.

I love W, because he loves his wife and daughters. He loves his brothers and sister. He loves and respects his parents. I love him because he has morals, values and because he does not need the hollywood crowd to boost his self esteem. I love him because he turns the other cheek. I love him because he is a leader. I love him because he goes to bed early and rises early. I love him because he loves baseball. I love him because he lives in a relative modest home in Crawford, Tx out of the main stream towns. I love him because he ran for office in West Texas and ran against his friend, and never once said anything bad about him, lost the election and went on to run for Gov years later in Texas. He is a man that we can all wish for in our husbands, sons, and dads. He is a man who is thoughtful, honest, caring and most of all he is a man that I love and have loved for 20 years. I stood in line at 3:00 in the morning to see him in Hobbs NM. It was the highlight of my life. He is just a great man. I wish the world could see what I see in this leader, and person we call President George W. Bush, and his precious family.

For all the reasons so eloquently expressed by others here: leadership, faith, sincerity, patriotism. Because of the way President Bush stood at the wreckage of the WTC and pledged America's swift answer, which came just as he said. Because I am not willing to trust wackadelic social engineers who want to stamp out people of faith and Godly morality. Because the Dems are so utterly out of touch that they cannot fathom that we did not fall for the honey-lipped lies falling from the mouths of their anointed ones.

Also to tick off the leftists and particularly the Indian astrologers who predicted that the stars were for Kerry; and the Wiccans who were casting spells against Bush. Believe me, I smiled as I made out my ballot.

I sent a comment, too. I'm betting that they're getting swamped! Here's what I sent:

I voted for President Bush because he is a leader who understands what it means to lead. He listens to trusted others, weighs his options, makes a decision, and keeps his word in spite of intense opposition and criticism. Many Europeans call him a "cowboy" because they see a man who maintains his convictions without wavering, and Europeans, the media, and elitists think President Bush should allow himself to be swayed by their opinions because they are deluded by their own illusions of power and self-importance.

President Bush also understands that freedom is a right that belongs to everyone, and he believes in doing everything he can to see others live in freedom without fear.

When President Bush says it is his "solemn duty" to protect the American people, I know that he will keep his word and won't cave under pressure, which would put, not only America, but also the rest of the world, in danger of being attacked and destroyed by hate-filled extremists.

For these reasons, I believe that history will show President George W. Bush to be the most beloved President of the 21st century.

While there are many reasons I voted for Bush, there were just as many reasons I voted against Kerry. Most important of these, outside of the fact that he was and always has been a traitor to this country, was Kerry's complete deficiency in foreign policy.

For all of his supposed ability to be a better diplomat than Bush, Kerry's views of diplomacy was extremely limited. Kerry's history with Vietnam and Nicaragua and his suggestions for future dealings with Iran and North Korea could be summed up as simply: give them everything they want. Is it any wonder that he was the preferred choice of corrupt governments across the world? U.S. foreign policy would be a fire-sale to whomever made the biggest threats or demands.

In truth, diplomacy is a continuum from full-fledged alliance to unrestricted warfare. (Anti-war types incorrectly believe that peace and war are the success and failure, respectively, of diplomacy. In fact, they are both aspects of diplomacy.)

Bush has understood this, and has used diplomacy effectively. In Afghanistan and Iraq, the threat of force was insufficient, and force had to be used. North Korea, however, can still be economically blackmailed, so negotiations make more sense. Lybia was more than willing to play nice once they realized the nature of Bush's resolve, and the fact that they were caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, at great risk domestically, have begun internal crackdowns because they fear the US ore than they fear internal dissidents. France and Germany (and the UN in general) are being subtly punished for their obstruction.

My response to them...

I proudly voted for GWB. It was not a difficult choice.

For whatever reason, religious or other, I believe he is a good man with moral clarity. Some issues that are black and white; good and evil. Not everything is nuanced. He says what he means, means what he says. I like that.

I wanted his choice(s)rather than JFK's to be seated on the Supreme Court

I believe the war on terror is more than a nuisance and should be prosecuted as a war rather than a law enforcement problem.

I don't believe we need to pass a 'global test' to deal with islamofascism. It would be helpful, and easier if the world chooses to help. But if they want to put their economic interests first (UN oil for food scandal, etc)so be it.

I think not being a member of the International Criminal Court and not Signing onto the Kyoto treaty are GOOD things.

Other countries (understandably) look out for themselves first. When they HATE

Bush so much, then he must be doing something right for the American people.

Tax cuts are a GOOD thing.

Listening to liberals whine for 4 more years is simply icing on the cake:)

My wish list?

A supreme court that strictly interprets the constitution.

Islamofacism beaten back, aware that if they strike they're gonna get hit back.

A simplified tax code (flat tax)

Tort reform - getting a handle on the John Edwards of the world.

Many really good answers! Too bad the Brits only know the media Bush, and not the real man like we do here. They might change their tunes if they ever need us to defend them.
