The step-by-step way of getting it done is to first require the government, in its statements it mails out to SS "contributors", to state exactly how much of their "contributions" goes to their own accounts, and how much is being used for other people's accounts and for other purposes. Then they should be given the option of withdrawing competely that portion of their "contributions" that go to their own accounts, since it's their own damn business what to do with their own money.
We agree that it needs to be done away with...any reasonable method put forward towards those ends is something I can support over no plan.
