There's so much being said about Red vs. Blue states, it's beginning to sound as though the red states are comprised entirely of neanderthal, bible-thumping rednecks, and the blue states are comprised entirely of the intellectual, all-knowing, global-aware elites. Well, I did a summary of the Blue states and it turns out that 24,839,492 bible-thumping neanderthals from those states voted for George W. Bush. In looking at the Blue states, they comprise the largest cities in the country - Detroit, New York, Baltimore, etc., i.e., the government handout crowd coupled with their liberal sympathizers. In D.C., George got less than 10% of the vote! The welfare crowd sure knows where their checks come from!
At any rate, here's the summary for the 20 Blue states:
George W. Bush: 24,839,492......45.27%
John F. Kerry: 30,023,917......54.73%

On second thought, the states were appropriately colored in the electoral map--they sure are blue now! :(
In my part (the Inland Empire) of the blue state of CA, the blue areas of the two red counties are the poorer, older urbanized sections and Palm Springs.

Overcrowding of humans in large urban areas leads to a dramatic increase in mental illness and the result is Democrat voters.

The largest cities are:
1. New York
2. Lost Angeles
3. Chicago
4. Houston
Any number of other cities are big, bigger than Baltimore. Try Phoenix, San Diego, even San Jose perhaps.
As a westerner, I was warned as a child to recognize that easterners tend to almost ignore the west.

We need some sort of plan to migrate into the blue states that had the closest margin. Maybe a 10 year plan to increase the conservative population of New Hampshire or maybe even Wisconsin. Build a base then expand again in 10 years. Any volunteers to be the first wave?
It is funny that I had the argument with the Democrat coworker today about the ignorance of people that voted for Bush. As an Ivy League educated person I took offense.
Ironically, I checked the voting data on NJ state web site and the wealthiest and most educated counties in NJ, including Hunterdon county, where average income is $90K, voted for Bush. Even on national level, the CNN polls indicate that when stratified into educational levels, only people that did not have high school diploma and people that had post graduate degrees/PhDs predominantly voted for Kerry. It is also such a fallacy when the Democrats try to portray that the only reason why the "rich" vote for Bush is because they are afraid of tax increases... For some reason the Dems fail to realize that taxes would go up for everybody if Dems are in power.
The conservatives are leaving these states to fast. We could never make up the rising deficit.
Baltimore and it's suburbs were enough to invalidate the remaining 90% of our state. I know what he's saying.
