Suha Arafat, with her ailing hubby last week, spends Palestinian funds on herself. ABACAAs Yasser Arafat lay dying yesterday in a French military hospital, his wife and a top financial adviser battled at his bedside over the estimated $1 billion he has stashed away in secret bank accounts.
Suha Arafat and Mohammad Rashid are the only people who know the numbers of the bank accounts in which Arafat has put "gigantic" sums of Palestinian Authority money, the Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahronoth reported.
Suha and Rashid are known not to get along. Like many top Arafat aides, Rashid is suspicious of her free-spending ways, and believes her lavish Parisian lifestyle has drained too much cash from the Palestinian war chest. Estimates of Suha's monthly allowance range between $50,000 and $100,000. Adding to the venom is the fact that until she arrived at Arafat's bedside when he fell ill last week, Suha hadn't been in Ramallah on the West Bank in more than four years.
"She did everything she could to distance Rashid from Arafat's sickbed in order to keep him from learning the secret numbers which she only knows," the paper said.
"Nobody really knows how much money Arafat is hiding in his secret accounts," the paper said. "But there is no doubt that Suha might become very shortly a very rich woman."
The Sunday Times of London reported last week that in the early 1980s, when the Palestinians raked in a fortune from drug trafficking in Lebanon, Arafat's secret coffers swelled to $5 billion.

Money laundering hidden in plain sight. Sula needs to have her Bloomingdale's Gold Card cut up with scissors and then be arrested for receiving roughly a billion dollars obtained through almost half a century of theft, embezzlement, extortion, bribery, graft, and murder committed by her husband. That money was largely generated by US taxpayers and it's high time for confiscation by it's rightful owners.
Ter-ay-za had better mind her manners, or hanoi-boi will cast his eyes on another wealthy widow.
For half a billion dollars, I could get along with anybody.
The EU can be proud too that they gave a lot of taxpayer money to him. And it'd be nice if she wastes it in Europe rather than buying guns and bombs with it. So live it up Mrs. Arafat.
The bank keeps it, obviously. I hope this is indeed the case, since this would mean less money to spend on terrorism

That is what I read in a WND article I read a couple of days ago, but could have been just rumor, so I don't know for sure.
I was joking earlier that in the Will, Sula will get only "The Compound," and that everything else will go to Arafat's *SECRET LOVER*.
