Thanks for thread ambrose.

A few weeks ago Glenn Beck had a segment on how after the Governator's address to RNC in NY his wife "turned off the fawcets" for 2 weeks.. & then had call ins to share what it was like this election in a Bush/Kerry relationship - soul mates/ marriage etc.

It was funny but sad.

I think everyone LOVED having The Arnold in columbus.. not sure it got any vote however.

"The party wasn't broke."

All the $$$ in the world, i.e., Bush spending millions in 2000, wasn't going to change the outcome in CA.

CA Republicans are just going to have to accept that only socially moderate Republicans can win statewide elections in CA.

I understand. I was born in 1959 in Sacto and lived there for 28 years. Moved to San Diego and lived there for four years before moving to AZ. My entire family still lives and resides in Sacto today.

I remember going to the voting booth many a time to vote for Republican candidates in CA knowing they had already lost.

I can't believe ANYONE believes Arnie's jokes about his marriage. It seems strong and true.

It's as if you believed George Burns' jokes about Gracie. He was devastated when she died and couldn't wait to rejoin her.

You and I will just have to disagree. No one thought the recall would be successful either. We proved them wrong.

Obviously Dems also voted for the recall and voted for Arnold. He won 57 percent of vote did he not? I know for sure that Reps in CA don't have a 57 percent registration advantage.

We're going to have stop meeting like this... LOL..

Yes... I've said a zillion times, pubs and cross-over dems put him in office, and we can take him out. :)

If you will check back to post #31, I admitted that it was probably a joke, I just didn't realize that because I couldn't see or hear the way he said it. Mea culpa.

No Mara, put a Conservative in there. Going to take a lot of hard work to do it, but it can be done.

After seeing that 3d electoral map especially the bay area in CA... I wish you all the luck in the world. Maybe eventually reality will sink in.

I don't either. I just don't think that ultra conservative republicans in CA live in reality as to what type of Republican can win statewide in CA.

Your right I am. My vote did not go to Arnold either. But and affair come on babe how can you excuse Guliani?

We can't accept less because less can "win" thats like trying to have a debate and putting all your effort into being right instead of exchanging information. I don't think Guliani or Arnold are awful but there not honest about who they are. Both are as much dems as reps so just say that. Neither will do anything about partial birth abortion, Arnold will do nothing about the "whole" reading in the state schools, and both think children are better off in "head start" then at home with mom. In Guliani's case I can understand he needs someplace to go with ?

I think if you are going to ask for the support of me then walk the walk or don't ask. I would rather go down in defeat doing the right thing then be at the celebration party while my bank account is being sucked dry for all those needed social programs to help people not take care of there own lives.

But what do I know our lovely state just approved 3bil for stem cell research that in other countries has shown no promise above the hype, never mind that core stem cells do, because then you would have to carry the baby to term, and we just can't have that, cause that may be uncomfortable.

Your still cool though, and cute and a really good kisser so all is forgiven

The Governator knows when to hold....and when to fold.

OH don't make me barf. I'm so sick of the Arnold cool aide drinkers. He is the worst governor. Lasting socialism is not what the people who voted for him wanted but that is what they are getting.

Barf?
Oh dear. If that's the way you feel now, you will be doing LOTS of barfing in the next 3 years.
Will you be shocked, appalled and terribly disappointed when he is RE-ELECTED for four more years?

Arnie, the WORST governor?
The one who got us $38 BILLION in debt in SIX short years sounds to ME like the WORST governor!
You remember who it was....the Democrat who won the honor of being the FIRST governor of California to be RECALLED (Democrats voted OUT their doubly elected Democrat governor.): Gray "give-it-all-away-to-the-unions" Davis?
But, then, what do I know?

Yes Arnold is the worst. Far worse than Davis and you know how bad he was.

Thanks to Arnold we have:

Fiscal Conservative? NOT! He's a borrow and spend liberal!
