I wish you had told the buyer to relate the story to the manager, hand the book to the manager and walk out.

The you might have suggested that he order his books from either the TownHall.com book service, or the Conservative Book Club (www.conservativebookclub.com).

Both of these charge 19.95 for the book (with gratitude and without the hassle) In addition, CBC offers several books for next to nothing for joining, and you only have to buy four books in two years.

B&N charges 16.17, and it comes with obnoxious, snide liberal comments (sorry for the redundancies).

I usually go to Amazon.com (I know he is a liberal YUCK) but I go to the Used Books section. Not owned by Bezos. I order them there and they are in brand new condition for a fraction of retail. Never been burned yet. And you can even get out of print books that way.
