This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen masquerading as "data".

The mass of Alaska's "vote" is so enormous as to make the thing unrepresentative of anything real at first glance.

The size of the Los Angeles "vote" appears four times bigger than the NYC "vote".

If you look at the volume of these rectangles, there is no way Bush won the popular vote. Except, of course, that he did, by 3.5 million. Unless you count those 20 million Republican voters up in Alaska.

I get the fact that cities vote Dem, and the Burbs and the country vote GOP, but this "representation" isn't representative of anything.

When they are forced to live in overcrowded conditions, they they start to exhibit aberrant behaviour, and vote for Democrats.
