So as always it'll be a balance between the military and political considerations.

With troops paying the difference in their blood.

There always has and always will be a balance between political and military considerations, particularly in this nation. The military serves at the pleasure of the political. Not a great system at all but how we structured our Constitution.

"So as always it'll be a balance between the military and political considerations. With troops paying the difference in their blood."

So true, as in every war many fall in battle due to politics. It is our job to ensure they are not needlessly put into situations for political gain.

Falluja is a perfect case study of politics trumping military objectives. It is not easy to know where to draw the line. Our Troops will succeed irregardless of where the line is drawn. The only question is how many will be sacrificed needlessly.

I pray that God is with our President and our Troops. I pray God shields and protects every last one of them.

The ugliest part of war is about to commence; Godspeed to our troops as they bring the fight to the enemies of freedom.
