The Transportation Security Administration has issued an advisory that a Piper PA 25 Pawnee crop dusting aircraft was stolen near Ejido, Queretaro near Mexicali Mexico on November 1.
The stolen aircraft is registered in Mexico and bears the tail number XBCYP.
If you see this aircraft, the TSA says you should immediately contact the TSA General Aviation Hotline at (866) 427-3287.
The TSA encouraged aerial application operators to take security measures such as storing aircraft in locked hangers with electronic security systems and parking heavy airport equipment such as trucks and forklifts which would block airport access, using propellor locks, chains and tie downs to secure aircraft stored outdoors, and more.
Additional security guidelines are available from the TSA and the National Agricultrucal Aviation Association.
The TSA added that any suspicious activity should be reported immediately to local law enforcement as well as to the TSA General toll free Aviation Hotline at 866-GASECUR. (1-866-427-3287)

Also remember the armored Ayers crop duster that disappeared while retsurning from a coca spraying mission. The cockpit is armored against small arms fire, and the spray tank can be ocnverted to hold fuel for long-distance ferrying.
Where was the Ayers plane stolen from and how long ago?
October 2001, somewhere near the Bahamas, or on takeoff from Turks and Caicos (i.e. the pilot could have been offed on the ground and the plane stolen). It was bound for Patrick AFB.
I was going to give you the link to the NTSB report... but there doesn't seem to BE an NTSB report.
Things that make you go "Hmmmmm!"
Ping
Nothing for me to worry about...I live in a blue state.
