I recall reading an article about homosexuality in islam. A reporter was allowed into Afghanistan(prior to 9/11) and he was watching the kids as they studied the Koran and reporting on the local population. He said the men there would proposition him even though homosexuality is punishable by death. The people there assumed all Americans were homosexuals since that is what they are taught. I guess that is what happens when you have an incredibly repressed male population that is afraid of women's sexuality.
