"The survey, and an accompanying report, showed that there's a fair amount of cluelessness in the ranks of the values crowd." [NYTimes ]

Didn't the N.Y Times receive a Pulitlzer Prize for falsely reporting that Stalin was not murdering (starving ) millions of farmers for resisting collectiveization of their land ?

the freepers and blogs need to continue to publicly eviscerate the NY Slimes at every turn. If not for them, and the lemming rags across the country, the Bush victory would have been double digits.

I think a case could be made that ignorance played at least as big a role in the election's outcome as values.

And if the left, and Rock the Vote, hadn't started the "Bush is bringing back the draft" scare, the number of young voters would have been even smaller. Funny how that never gets mentioned.

You know it's pretty bad for the MSM when your average Jane Q. Public knows more about what's going on than the so-called intelligentsia over at the MSM.

The Rats want us to "reach out"? The democrats will not and can not change.

Their mantra of hate continues. Evil rules these people.

The Connection: How al Qaeda's Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America
by Stephen F. Hayes

Contrary to the statements of the Kerry campaign, Stephen F. Hayes proves that solid, well-documented intelligence establishing a close working relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda was available to Bush (as well as to Congress) well before the Iraq War. The only real question then was what we would do about it.

Two of the hijackers, Marwan Al-Shehhi and Ziad Jarrah, had met Mukhabarat officers in the months before 9-11 in the United Arab Emirates. This provides another stunning indictment of Saddam Hussein and his Regime. How could one not conclude that Iraq had complicity in the 9/11 Attack given this information?

According to U.S. and foreign intelligence officials, in the spring of 2000, Iraqi Intelligegence agents met with September 11th pilot hijackers Zaid Samir Jarrah and Marwin Al-Shehhi in Dubai, UAE in order to advance the hijacking of U.S. aircraft to commit terrorist acts. Not long after the meeting, Al-shehhi entered the United States on May 29 and Jarrah entered on June 27, to begin preparations for attacks. (Source: Complaint (PDF) Lawsuit claiming a 9/11 link between Iraq and al Qaeda. Sept. 3, 2002)

According to David Rose in the Evening Standard: My own doubts emerged more than a year ago, when a very senior CIA man told me that, contrary to the line his own colleagues were assiduously disseminating, there was evidence of an Iraq-al Qaeda link.

He confirmed a story I had been told by members of the anti-Saddam Iraqi National Congress - that two of the hijackers, Marwan Al-Shehhi and Ziad Jarrah, had met Mukhabarat officers in the months before 9/11 in the United Arab Emirates.

This, he said, was part of a pattern of contact between Iraq and al Qaeda which went back years.

Return To The Connection

Also, we know Saddam Hussein publicly offered sanctuary to Bin Laden in 1999, we know that Ansar al-Islam was working under the direction of Iraqi Intelligence with a $50,000 contribution from Saddam, we have Yossef Bodansky’s book detailing ties, and so on. You need to familiarize yourself with the facts before you go around giving Saddam a bill of innocence.

The LEFT are the ones who voted without the facts, and based their entire campaign on hate, propaganda, bias, and rhetoric. Guess what? they lost because of it.
When proven results and FACTS such as a booming economy (330,000+ new jobs in October, ahem), and winning the war against terrorism (liberating 2 countries, and taking the offensive before it's too late) are apparently there in black and white right before them, they chose to ignore it.
The rest of the country didn't.

Bob Hebert is a lying 2 bit demogogue, who should be deported. His candidate refused to sign from 180 and release all his military records, but ran on his military service. And jokers like Hebert refused to insist that he release all of his records.

Well, on the topic of a connection or relationship between Bin Laden and Hussein, and on the topic of the average citizens being more informed than the Mainstream Media, the best example would be the Prague Connection. The Czechs have always maintained that a meeting took place on April 8, 2001 between an Iraqi official who was deported because of a bomb plot and the lead hijacker, Atta. The N.Y. Times reported that the President of the Czech Republic called President Bush and told him no such meeting ever took place and was forced to report two days later, a retraction. The Czechs called it a “fabrication” and we know no such phone call took place. The 9/11 Commission Statement #16 states no such meeting ever occurred based on one weak piece of anecdotal evidence that Atta’s cell phone had been in use, but it could have been used by a surrogate seeing how it couldn’t be used overseas.

Great point...I'm sure an opinion survey of Kerry voters would demonstrate that large numbers of them were dumb enough to believe Kerry was a brave war hero.

Bob Herbert is Exhibit A in the case against affirmative action. He is a shrill, talentless left-wing screecher, who was imported to the Ny Times from NJ's own left-wing rag, the Newark Star-Ledger.
If this guy was white, he'd be teaching English 101 at some community college in Perth Amboy, NJ. He is on the Times solely because of his skin color, just as Jayson Blair was allowed to create news stories b/c Raines didn;t want to "hurt his feelings," and "felt the pain of the Jim Crow racism that Blair experinced while snorting blow and getting hammered in Greewich Village after-hours! Pinch Sulzbetrger and the rest of the Times are the official laughing stock of the journalsim world, the print version of Rather Dan!

OK, we're stupid and ignorant. So what does that say about them, THE LOSERS, exactly? Umm, well I'm just too stupid to know anything about that.
