This is what war is all about. The purpose of an army is to break things and to kill the enemy until they have no capability to resist.

Lets hope that the US has the will to carry out their plans.

I've never been in the military, but I can't imagine any necessity to send the infantry into a surrounded, demarcated position that you know is full of enemy.
