Provisional ballots were a great idea, and this is proof of it. People don't get turned away at the polls, but illegitimate votes aren't counted.

if a person wants to vote - he knows about it before election day...he/she should be required to register at least 2 months before election so that legality can be checked -

the hundreds of thousands of same-day votes is ridiculous - and geared for fraud in the first place. NO way to catch most of them in time to count - or not to count!

Same-day voting was instituted for ease of fraud, pure and simple It used to be 6 months before election -

You omitted the /sarcasm tag. Provisional ballots and early voting are an open invitation to fraud.
