The problem is -- politics is politics.

Of course the Clinton era can receive allot of blame. However, Republicans controlled at least one chamber during most of Clinton's administration. What did they do? Even when GWB came into office, he left many of the Clinton hold-overs in place and chose not to pursue any legalities against the Clintonites.

The Republicans can't get a pass on the Clinton era; they were complicit, both during and after.

How and why did the Clintons gain so much power and position that they have escaped prison time for most major scandals. And such major scandals can be traced back 2 decades into Clinton's governorship.

What do the Clintons have on so many Republicans? It is ironic that the one scandal that tainted x42 -- Lewinsky -- brought down, not one, but two major Republican leaders--Gingrich and his immediate successor. More Republicans have lost jobs from Clinton scandals than Democrats have. Why?

You know the answer to your question.

The Old Media protected the one and attacked the other.

And, while the other had a measure of honor, the one had none at all.
