My older sister will never listen to her "baby" sister (me), but will listen to every peice of liberal anti-war, anti-Bush scribble on the net.
She recently sent me the following about the "cost of war:"
http://www.costofwar.com/
The home page for this is
http://www.nationalpriorities.org/
I know many people here are more knowledgeable than I am, and will have information on hand to counter this while I am still looking for it. If you can help, please post resources.
I'm still trying to educate my sister and her friends, and I hope they see the light one day.
Thanks all!
bttt
Its not even half of that.
disown her.
Seems to me that a picture of the twin towers ablaze with a caption like "the cost of appeasement" would do wonders.
Just heard from my son. Made me sick. He's for everything and for nothing. Can hardly believe that he's my son that I raised. Sad!
One of my sisters is a diehard liberal. We are very close and good friends. We never talk politics anymore. Her mind is made up and so is mine. I will never vote Dem and she will never vote Repub. It works out great.
On a side note. My wife was a Democrat (or she thought she was)when I met her. Now, 8yrs later she is a militant Conservative. She scares me sometimes. I'm more moderate.
Tell here to substitute "Cost of freedom for millions of women and children" Or "Cost of ending torture, rape and oppression in an entire nation" for "Cost of war"
How old is he?
What did 9/11 cost? Apart from 3,000 lives. What would be the cost of an attack that kills 300,000 lives?
25.
Actually, $144 billion looks about right.
What these idiots fail to factor is losses that would be caused if there was another attack. IIRC, the 9/11 attacks cost our economy over a trillion dollars.
We have seriously disrupted Al Qaeda and we are draining off and killing their potential recruits. The worst they have been able to do us so far was send us another tape... So for right now, we are in the black.
For them lost souls, this URL begins to tell the story of 32 years of terrorist killing of thousands of american by Islam muslims.

If they can't see the handwriting the wall time to find a new sister or friend. you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink.
In Memory Of The Thousands Of American Victims of Islamic/Arab Terrorists
These pages are dedicated to the thousands of Americans who have lost their lives either directly or indirectly to Islamic and Arab terrorists over the past 30+ years. They do not include those who were "merely" wounded in bombings, shootings, stabbings, stonings, torturings, maimings, kidnappings and hijackings. This memorial is also dedicated to the thousands of survivors including the orphans, spouses, parents, siblings, grandparents, relatives and friends whose lives will never be the same.
We will not forget.

Why do you women feel you have to save everyone?
My heart goes out to you!
I am the baby sister of a Lesbian(after two marriages and four kids)/ex-Cleveland teacher/Flaming Lib with Munchausen Syndrome.
Even my parents knew that I was the only one of their three children with a lick of sense. My sisters still have a problem with the idea that I inherited our family home because I was the only one of us that would not default on the payments.
