Please, don't let Alan Keyes run.
Alan is brilliant and would be a GREAT Senator, but hsi style seems to rub people the wrong way. I would voate for Alan for anything he wants to run for, but not too many other people will, apparently, and that is unfortunate.
However, as I said, running a black against Hitlery would draw out the full measure of her vitriolic viciousness (not to mention her out-and-out hate) and destroy her for '08 even as she wins re-election.
