I was talking with a moderate Republican friend of mine yesterday. He said he had no objection to something that would let them have power of attorney if their partner is in the hospital or those types of things.
I was amazed at the libs who called most of America stupid for being concerned with national security, yet voted against Bush only because they wanted same sex marriage.

While she is right that in every red state, there is a partly blue state, she may not understand (or want to) that in every blue state, there is a mostly red state.
