I somewhat disagree - IMHO, not all of them are moving through the stages. True, at first the crazies hit the shock and denial stage. Then they went into the anger and depression stage (which is normal and good), but some can't handle it and they've regressed back to the denial stage in order to "cope" (although in truth, they're not coping at all).
The five stages don't necessarily work in the 1-5 order and sometimes it's normal to regress back to previous stages, but it's not normal or healthy to choose to stay stuck in the denial and/or anger (which is what a lot of the DUmmies are doing). Unless they decide to deal with their pain, disillusionment and disappointment - they cannot and will not move on towards acceptance. Their deep pools of anger and resentment will only fester and continue to poison their minds, hearts, even their souls.
